I have been a huge fan of Miffy ever since I was little so I was super excited to find out that she will soon be coming to our tv screens for a new series. Miffy’s Adventures Big and Small starts this Friday, October 2nd at 7pm exclusively on Tiny Pop. This year is quite a big one for Miffy as not only is the new series starting but she also has a movie coming out and she’s turning 60!
Miffy’s Adventures Big and Small has been developed by London-based animation studio BlueZoo. There will be 52 episodes, lasting just 7 minutes each which means it’s great to watch just before bedtime. Featuring new children’s voices, characters and locations, each episode features Miffy exploring the exciting world around her, with simple narrative and cheerful songs to drive it along. Despite it being CGI and not stop motion like the previous tv series it still remains true to the iconic style of Miffy’s creator, Dick Bruna.
We think it looks great and it’s on just before Clementine’s bed time so we can sit down together and watch it. Tiny Pop can be found on Freeview channel 126, Sky channel 617 and Virgin channel 737.
*Disclaimer. For doing this post we were sent some Miffy books which Clem couldn’t wait to get her hands on but we are actually big fans of Miffy.*
