Valentines Gifts with Snapfish

I was recently contacted by Snapfish to see if I would like to create something special for Valentines Day. Now usually we don’t do Valentines Day, we give each other cards but that’s about it so I thought it might be nice to actually do something a bit different this year. I decided to make a photo book as I have been with Jesse now for almost 13 years so we definitely have a lot of memories together!

The first thing I noticed was just how easy it was to create the photo book, the second thing was the huge amount of customisation you can do to the book. It’s not just simply putting photos on a page, you can pick themes, different layouts, add embellishments and little extras. First I had to pick the size of book I wanted, I decided to go for an 11″ x 8″ Classic Photo Book. After uploading all of the photos I wanted to include in the book I decided to go with a love theme, it is for valentine’s day after all which gave me 14 different backgrounds for the pages. I added little extras like stickers, washi tape to most of the pages. You can decide if you want the photos auto-filled or not, I decided not to and added them in where I wanted them. You can resize, add filters, crop, layer photos, move them around on the page. There really is a lot of options you can do with the books.

The book cost £19.99* and delivery was £3.99. Despite warning me it might take oveer 7 days to arrive, it actually came really quickly, and I have to say I am really impressed with the quality of the photo book. I was a bit worried about how the extras I added like the washi tape and quotes might looks but they look really good. I would definitely order another one in the future. If you want to create your own gifts for Valentines then you need to be quick and order before February 9th to get it delivered on time.

*I was given a £25 code to use on the site to create my gifts but all thoughts are my own.

This is a lovely idea for a Valentine’s gift. I love the bits like washi tape that you’ve added, it makes it look more scrapbook-y (is that a thing!).

I am not a big fan of Valentine’s either, but I think a gift like this is so meaningful and thoughtful. Something you can keep for years to come and which will always be filled with lovely memories, x

What a lovely idea for a valentines gift. We have decided that we aren’t doing anything special this year otherwise this is something I might have looked at.

What a thoughtful Valentine’s gift! I would love for my OH to present me with this. One of our friends does a book similar to this full of all our childrens’ adventures throughout the year as a Christmas present – Its one of the highlights of my year.

I love Snap Fish! We printed out Wilf’s first year into a book but haven’t quite managed to get organised enough to do it since! x
