Yet again we are saying goodbye to another month and hello to a new one. I swear this year is flying by. It is now June!! JUNE! Almost half way through the year. I love doing these little Instagram roundups, they are a great way of looking back over the last month.
So how did May look? – sunny, with lots of visits to the beach, park and some yummy food.
1 – Beach. One of my favourite places to go, especially when the sun is shining.
2 – I went to London for an evening and saw two of my all time favourite bands. AFI and Deftones were playing at Alexandra Palace.
3 – Not that wasn’t taken in Spain or some other country. It was in fact right here in Brighton. I was walking down from Western road to the seafront and came across it, nestled in amongst a lot of Regency buildings. I loved all the balconies and greenery.
4 – Brighton Sea Life Centre – The entrance is amazing and so colourful. I love the rainbow as you enter.
5 – Super yummy brownie at The Walrus, a new pub that has just opened in Brighton. You can check out my review here.
6 – Another shot from the sea life centre. Clem’s favourite part was the tropical area. She has recently become obsessed with Finding Dory and Nemo so was super excited to find a whole glass tunnel filled with them.
Fun in the sun
7 – The weather has been so nice, and now that we actually have a proper little garden it was time to get a paddling pool. I slightly underestimated the size of this one and it’s massive!! But Clem has absolutely loved playing in it.
8 – Playing in the park. Does anyone else have a climber? She climbs over everything and loves scaling the little climbing wall in the park.
9 – Splash pool fun. If there’s one thing Brighton isn’t short of its activities for kids. There is so much to do, and one of our favourite places to go is the park on the seafront by the i360. Now that the weather is warmer the splash pool has been filled, the fountains are on and it’s great for burning off energy.
I can’t wait to see what June brings. It’s a very busy month for us, with two gigs, fathers day and photo day at Clem’s preschool. We are also off on holiday at the end of the month for a week, which I can’t wait for.
