After being stuck inside for a few days with terrible weather, we finally managed to make it outside today. It was only to the local park but by the time we got there the sun was just starting to come out from behind the clouds and we even spotted some blue sky! Clem absolutely loves going to the park to play. Although it was a bit wet from the rain during the night and early morning, she still managed to get on the slide and swings. She also made some time for puddle jumping and inspecting the graffiti on the wall.

One of the reasons we go to this park is not just because it’s close by but it also has a great little cafe which is kind of like a community hub. They have loads of different classes going on from yoga, mindfulness to baking bread and supper clubs. The cake and coffee selection is pretty great too. Clem is a big fan of the gingerbread men from there, and today I discovered the gluten-free brownies are pretty amazing. After the sugar rush started to set in, it was time to chase daddy around the play area for a while.
“ Play is the highest form of research.” – Albert Einstein. So true! Kids needs to play, discover and learn the world by themselves. Love the pictures!
Love your pictures! They’re gorgeous 🙂 #marvmondays
we absolutely love going to the park and it’s just great to get some fresh air and run about! #marvmondays
That looks and sounds like a fab park! We’re also enjoying the slightly better weather to get out there and enjoy playing al fresco again. It’s so good for all of us but definitely helps keep little people calmer! #MarvMondays
