Sunny Sunday at the Paddling Pool

by

After a week of not very nice weather ( I even had the heating on at one point!) we were super happy to finally get some sunshine at the weekend. On Sunday morning we woke up to a lovely clear blue sky so we decided to head off to another local park in Guildford that has a paddling pool in it. It’s recently been re-done to include water jets and sprays which is a nice addition.

Clem absolutely loved it, and we spent most of the day there. Obviously it was super busy because the weather was so nice but it’s big enough that she could still have fun. The fact that it’s free is great, the park it’s in is massive, there’s a play area, mini golf, skatepark and a huge amount of space to run around it so you can spend all day there if the weather is nice. We will definitely be heading there on the next sunny day.

Did you manage to enjoy the lovely weather over the weekend?

  1. Oh that looks like an amazing lido/paddling pool. We have a couple in Jersey and the plan is to spend some time in them this summer! 🙂 #pointshoot

    1. It’s fab, there is actually a proper lido just around the corner but it’s not great for little ones and it’s super expensive to get into so that makes this one even better!

    1. It really is, it used to be quite run down so it’s good that they’ve finally re-done it and in time for the nice weather.

  2. Aw, such a cutie! Looks like so much fun, nothing better than a pool on a hot day; we took A to the splash park near us, which was also SO busy but he loved it. #pointshoot

    1. There really isn’t, it was lovely despite the hoards of people. Next time I might try and go in the week when it should be less busy.

  3. I need to find one of these near me, there was a lido we used to go to before we moved that was only a bus ride away but it wasn’t anything like that, that one looks amazing !!! And Clem looks super cute in your pics xxx
