Hey Duggee Cheer Up,Pup! Review

by

I try to limit the amount of television that Clem watches, but sometimes I need some quiet time (or the toilet!) so on comes cBeebies and she’s away. One of her favourite programmes at the moment is Hey Dugee, and I have to confess that we are both massive fans too. So much so that I actually have it on series link so daddy can watch them all on the weekends with her. For Christmas we bought Clem a cuddly Duggee, Tag and Betty, she also has the little figurines that can be used with the club house. We were recently sent a copy of the new book – Hey Duggee Cheer Up, Pup! to review which made us super excited. Clems face lit up when we opened the package.

hey duggee

As you can see Clem had a few friends to help her read the book. Cheer up, Pup is bright, colourful and funny just like the tv show. The book starts off by introducing everyone which is great if you are not already familiar with Duggee and the rest of the squirrel club. Duggees nephew Duggly comes to visit the clubhouse and they have to look after him. However Duggly is just a typical pup and the others don’t quite know how to handle him. He’s too rough with their toys and Enid the cat. Thankfully Duggee comes to the rescue for a particularly smelly nappy change – eww. It all ends in typical Duggee fashion – a big Duggee hug and the squirrels have all earned another badge. Well done!

Clem absolutely loved this book. It’s definitely become a favourite at any time of the day. If you are interested in checking it out you can find out more information on the ladybird website. It’s priced at £6.99 and is available now.

We were sent a copy of this book for the purpose of this review however all words and thoughts are our own.
